Mysuru:  National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Delhi, had organised a two-day National Conference on ‘Doubling farmers’ income by 2022’ in New Delhi recently.

Farmers, NGO’s, Corporates, Scientists and organic farmers from across the country were invited to discuss the issues and solutions for sustainable farming and doubling the farmers’ income.

Mysurean Harish Shenoy, Trustee of Diya Foundation was part of the 40-member team from different parts of the country at the discussion for sustainable farming, water management and Doubling the Farmers’ income.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor of Himachal Pradesh Acharya Dev Vrat and Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh took part in the presentations. PM Modi delivered the valedictory address.
