G. Rashmi has brought laurels to the city by bagging 64th rank in the IFS (Indian Forest Service) exam conducted by the UPSC. Rashmi has achieved the feat in her first attempt. A first rank holder in Civil Engineering from SJCE in the city, Rashmi is currently serving at the Commercial Taxes Department in Bengaluru, after having passed KAS in 2017.
Rashmi is the daughter of retired Principal and writer Gangaram and Head Mistress Rathnamma couple of Mysuru city.
