Mysurean bags gold medal at National-level classical speech contest

Mysore/Mysuru: Pranava Acharya of Mysuru has bagged gold medal at the National-level 60th All India Classical Speech Contest (Akhila Bharatha Shastriya Bhashana Sparde) held at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh recently.

A student of Sri Vyasatirtha Vidyapeetha at Krishnamurthypuram in city, Pranava Acharya, who represented Karnataka, spoke on ‘Panchalakshani Grantha’ and bagged the gold medal in a tough competition among various participants who had come from 15 States.

Pranava who has studied about ‘Nyayashasthra Grantha’ under the guidance of Sri Vyasaraja Mutt, Sosale, Seer Sri Vidyashreesha Thirtha, is presently studying about ‘Sriman Nyayasudha and Chandrika Grantha,’ according to a press release from Sri Vyasatirtha Vidyapeetha Principal Dr. Srinidhi Pyati Achar.
