Mysurean becomes youngest Grand Master in Kuththuvarisai

Mysore/Mysuru: S. Krishna Murthy, rightly called as ‘Pararthah Maha Guru’ in Kuththuvarisai (Indian Martial Arts), has been recently awarded with the title ‘Grand Master’ of Osho Kai Martial Arts Academy by Dr. D. Muniruddin Sheriff, the Grand Master and Founder of Osho Kai Martial Arts Academy.

Now, Hanshi Krishna Murthy, the youngest Grand Master of Martial Arts in India, is a recipient of many eminent awards including Shourya Rathna State Award, Karnataka Vikasa Rathna State Award, Bharatha Viksasa Rathna National Award, Youth India Gaurav National Award, Award of Excellence in International Hall of Fame (he was awarded Master of the Year) and recognition from Martial Arts Authority of India. It is a fact that he is one of the best martial arts trainers and practitioners in the country. Practicing from the age of seven, Hanshi Krishna Murthy has over 27 years of experience in the field. 

An eighth degree black belt in martial arts from Osho Kai Martial Arts Academy, he has championed District, State, National and International-level competitions over many times. A doyen in the field of martial arts, Hanshi Krishna Murthy has donned many roles including State Secretary for Association of Sports Karate Karnataka, National Vice-President of Association of Sports Karate India and Secretary General for World Full Contact Karate Federation. 

Currently working as the Chief Instructor at Osho Kai Fitness in Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, the thirty-four-year-old Hanshi Krishna Murthy has trained children and students in over twenty Schools and Colleges apart from training IAS and KAS Officers, employees in Infosys and L&T. He also organises self- defense classes in various Colleges.
