Mysurean crowned as ‘Miss Teen South India’

Punyamrutha (centre) was crowned ‘Miss Teen South India’ in the Yash International Fashion Week Beauty Pageant held in Mysuru recently.

Mysore/Mysuru: B.S. Punyamrutha of Mysuru won ‘Miss Teen South India 2022’ title in the Yash International Fashion Week Beauty Pageant held in Mysuru recently.

Among nine qualified participants, 5.8-ft tall Punyamrutha, who got into modelling just a year back, impressed the judges with her overall good performance to win the coveted title.

Before winning this coveted title, she had won two runners-up and two titles including winning ‘Miss Teen Mysore’ and ‘Miss Teen India 2022’ first runner-up. 

On the winning experience, Punyamrutha said: “When my name was announced, for a second, my mind stopped functioning. It was a tough competition because all the 9 other contestants were very talented and most had participated in various national level beauty pageants.”

“I am waiting for the next level opportunity and wanting to excel in modelling at national and international level. I also want to do MBA,” added Punyamrutha, who is interested in acting too.

Daughter of K. Shekar and K. Rathna, Punyamrutha is pursuing I Year B.Com at Seshadripuram College, Mysuru.
