January 25, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: K.S. Badari Narayan, a World Yoga Alliance Certified Trainer and a World Record Holder in Yoga from Mysuru, has created a unique record by gazing at the Sun continuously for 42 minutes without blinking his eyes, in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple in city on Jan. 24.

On account of Rathasaptami (Jan. 28) and to mark his ailing mother Chakravarthy Raja Iyengar Bharathi’s birthday, Badari Narayan, a Multi-skilled Software Professional, performed this act titled ‘Sun Gazing without Blinking an Eye’ (also called ‘Trataka Kriya’), for 42 minutes from 12 noon to 12.42 pm and dedicated this feat to his mother.  He also performed ‘Pranayama’ during the period.
