Cons-truction Industry Development Council (CIDC), which is the Governing Body under the Planning Commission, Govt. of India, has conferred ‘Vishwakarma Award for the Best Institutional Building’ on the 1996 batch UPSC Officer from Mysuru D.S. Nayak and his team from PWD, contractors, consultant etc., in New Delhi recently.
The award was presented at a function held at India Habitat Centre on Lodhi Road, New Delhi, in the presence of CIDC Chairman & Supreme Court Judge Justice Arijit Pasayat.
D.S. Nayak, who was the Executive Engineer in CPWD, Mysuru, was transferred to New Delhi recently. He received the award for the construction of “Deen Dayal Upadya College, Dwarka, New Delhi” which has got the credit of Best Institutional Building in Delhi.
