Mysureans shine in Indo-Thailand Throwball Championship

Three Mysureans (from left) Smrithi Sunayana Subramanya, Melrick Oliver and Rochelle Konganda Dilip were part of the Friends Sports Academy (India) that emerged as Champions.

The Throwball team of Friends Sports Academy (India) emerged as Champions in both the men and women categories of the Indo-Thailand Throwball Club Championship held at Sing Samut School in Thailand recently.

The Men’s Team included Ganesh Acharya, Robert Sabestian, Ranjith Mohan, Melrick Olivera, P.V. Sugnan, M.K. Nagaraj, Kushal Gowda, Mummoorthy Sankar, Srisai Bhuneshwari Sankar, K.R. Prannay, Esakkidurai and B.D. Umashankar.

The Women’s Team included  Joyce Wesley, Rochelle Konganda Dilip, Sandhya Murugan, Sharanya Manjunath, Arpita Paliya, Smrithi Sunayana Subramanya, P.C. Dwaitha, B.S. Tanuja, G.P. Hema, Rakshitha Bomme Gowda, A.V. Harshitha, B.R. Deepika, Runel Eva D’souza, H.S. Bhavana, N.P. Preethi and Lakshmishree Sridhar.
