‘Mysurina Samajika Ratna’ Awardees

Anil Kumar (Media), Devendra Parihariya (Organisation), Shoba Dinesh (Social Service), Prakash Chikkapalya (Art), Cable Mahesh (Politics) and Suhas (Sports), who were conferred with 'Mysurina Samajika Ratna' awards by KMPK Charitable Trust at its 15th anniversary celebrations programme at a hotel in city on Friday, are seen with Melukote Vangipura Mutt Seer Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji and others.

Mysore/Mysuru: On the occasion of its 15th Anniversary celebrations, K.M. Praveen Kumar (KMPK) Charitable Trust honoured nine achievers in their chosen fields by conferring ‘Mysuruina Samajika Ratna‘ awards at a function held at a hotel here on Friday.

Vid. Dr. Banuprakash Sharma (Religious), District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal (Literature), C. Narayanagowda (Industry), J.H. Anil Kumar (Media), Devendra Parihariya (Organisation), Shoba Dinesh (Social Service), Prakash Chikkapalya (Art), Cable Mahesh (Politics) and Suhas (Sports) were conferred with the award by MLC C.N. Manjegowda.

Speaking on the occasion,  Manjegowda lauded the Trust for its efforts to create awareness about social, cultural, religious and environment issues by organising various programmes. The public should also cultivate similar social concern and think in terms of serving the society without any expectations, he said.

Melukote Vangipura Mutt Seer Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji, Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Chairman Hemanth Kumar Gowda, BJP leader Yashaswini Somashekar, Mysuru District and City Brahmana Sangha President D.T. Prakash and others were present on the occasion.
