Poetess A. Hemaganga, who is also the Founder-President of Sahitya Mattu Samskrutika Pratishtana, being honoured with Mysuru District Kannada Rajyotsava Award for the year 2023 by District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa during Rajyotsava celebrations in city  on Nov. 1 as MLA T.S. Srivatsa, Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal and others look on. She is the daughter of late Lakshmi-Ashwathanarayana couple of Chamarajanagar district.
