Mysore District Athletic Association will be conducting Mysuru District Track and Field Athletic Meet 2022 for both boys and girls under the age groups of 14 and 16 years, at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad on Dec. 27 starting from 8.30 am.

This Meet is also a selection trial for 18th National Inter-District Junior Athletic Meet 2023 to be held at Patna in Bihar from Jan. 12 to Jan. 14, 2023.

Events Boys/Girls U-14

1. Triathlon Group A: 60 mts, Broad Jump (Standing) and Shotput (Standing throw); 2. Triathlon Group B: 60 mts, Broad Jump (Standing) and High Jump (Fosbury flop not allowed); 3. Triathlon Group C: 60 mts, Broad Jump (Standing) and 600 mts Run; 4. Kids Javelin Throw.

Boys/Girls U-16

1. 80 mts; 2. 600 mts; 3. 1,600 mts; 4. 80 mts Hurdles; 5. High Jump (Fosbury flop not allowed); 6. Long Jump (5 mts Runway); 7. Shotput (Standing throw); 8. Javelin Throw; 9. Discus Throw (Standing throw); 10. Hexathlon (Six events)

There is no entry fee. Age brackets: U-14 years born between Jan.15, 2009 and Jan. 14, 2011. U-16 years born                between Jan. 15, 2007 and Jan. 14, 2009.
