Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. M. Suresh Babu, Professor of Medicine, JSS Medical College and Hospital, JSS AHER, Mysuru, was awarded the American College of Physicians Distinguished Mentor Award for the year 2023 in recognition of his outstanding mentorship in the field of clinical medicine.

The award was presented during the American College of Physicians (ACP), India Chapter Internal Medicine meeting held at Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, recently.

Dr. Suresh Babu is a Fellow of American College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, UK. He is a past Governing Council Member of ACP, India Chapter.

He was previously honoured with ACP Appreciation Award for his significant contribution as Founder Chair, Membership Committee, towards the formation and growth of the Indian Chapter of ACP.
