Mysuru football team creates history at Mini Olympics

Mysuru District Football team created record by scoring highest goals by any team in the Karnataka State Mini Olympics Games 2020-21.

In a match held at Sree Kanteerva Stadium this morning, Mysuru team enthralled crowd and stunned Raichur team beating them by 12-0.

The team, captained by K.S. Thrishanth Kumar (a student of Excel Public School) restrained Raichur and continued to take control and dominate scoring a dozen goals.  Sunil, a student of Mahabodi School, scored highest goals for Mysuru.

“This massive victory against Raichur and previous match win against Uttarakannada has got the young lads dream of making into Qualifying round to play finals,” said coach
