Mysuru lad to present research paper in Greece

Mysuru: Raihan Taqui Syed, Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation (CEBI), Modern College of Business & Science, Sultanate of Oman, affiliated to University of Missouri, USA, has been invited by the Selection Committee headed by Dr. Peter Yannopoulos, Professor, Brock University, Canada, to present his research paper on “Academic Entrepreneurship and Edupreneurship within Entrepreneurial Ecosystem” at the 16th Annual International Conference on SΜΕs, Entrepreneurship and Innovation to be held from July 29 to Aug.1 in Athens, Greece. 

The Conference is organised by Centre for Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises (CSME) and Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER), Greece.

Raihan Taqui Syed, an alumnus of SJCE, is the first Mysurean to have been selected by European Union consortium for the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship programme to pursue Master’s degree specialising in Management of Professionals in 2007. 

Furthermore, he was bestowed with high-performing student award for his academic excellence in MBA from James Cook University, Queensland, Australia, 2010. 

Presently, he is a Doctoral candidate — Management / Entrepreneurship at the University of Bradford, Yorkshire, UK. 

Raihan is the son of Ayesha Nasreen and Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed, former Vice-Chancellor, Yenepoya University, Mangaluru.
