Mysore/Mysuru: As part of its 14th anniversary, Mysuru Sahitya Mathu Samskrutika Prathishtana has announced Balashri, Gaana Kogile, Sahitya Sindhu, Muktaka Sahitya Sindhu, Gamaka Chatura, Sadhanashri and Samskrutika Seva Ratna awards.
The awardees are: Shreshta H. Shankar, Taksha Chanakya Rebanta and Manvik S. Chikka Bodappa (Balashri award); M.K. Athishay Jain (Gaana Kogile award); S.P. Padma Murthy and B.P. Ashwath Narayan (Sahitya Sindhu award); M. Muthuswamy and Kiran Sidlehalli (Muktaka Sahitya Sindhu award); Kalashri C.P. Vidyashankar (Gamaka Chatura award); S. Raghavendra (Sadhanashri award) and Bagali Mahesh (Samskrutika Sevarathna award).
The awards will be conferred at a programme to take place at Ideal Jawa Rotary School premises on JLB road at 4 pm on Dec.19. Writer S. L. Varalakshmi’s work titled ‘Srigandha,’ a collection of poems and ‘Hongirana,’ a commemoration volume on late writer Sunanda will also be released on the occasion.
