Mysuru-Thalassery Railway Line : Massive Rally in Mysuru on Feb. 18

Mysuru: Kodava Samaja, Mysuru, had organised  a preliminary meeting last evening at its premises in Vijayanagar First Stage regarding the protest to be staged in city on Feb. 18 against the proposed Thalassery-Mysuru Railway Line. The protest rally has been organised at J.K. Grounds at 10 am.

On Feb. 18, there will be a procession from J.K. Grounds, passing via Devaraja Urs Road, Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa Circle and Railway Station, back to J.K. Grounds. This will be followed by a public meeting where speakers will address. People from Kodagu, Bengaluru, Mandya and other places are expected to participate. B.M. Nanaiah, President, Kodava Samaja, Mysuru, welcomed. J.P. Aiyanna, local convener, gave a detailed presentation on the rally. Samaja Vice-President Prof. K.C. Belliappa, Hon. Secretary M.M. Ponnappa and Hon. Treasurer M.B. Jeevan and were present.
