Mysore District Athletic Association will be organising Mysuru District Track and Field Athletic Meet – 2024 for both boys and girls in Under-14 and Under-16 age group categories at Chamundi Vihar Stadium on Jan. 27 from 8 am onwards.
Triathlon-A (60 mts, long jump, high jump), Triathlon-B (60 mts, long jump, shot put) and Triathlon-C (60 mts, long jump and 600 mts) will be held in the U-14 category while 60 mts, 80 mH, 600 mts, high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin throw and pentathlon (60 mts, 80 mH, long jump, shot put and 600 mts) will be held in the U-16 category.
Boys and girls born between Feb. 19, 2010 and Feb. 18, 2012 are eligible to take part in U-14 category while boys and girls born between Feb. 19, 2008 and Feb. 18, 2010 can take part in U-16 category.

Best 11 athletes, who secure first place in the competitions, will be selected for the Mysuru district athletic team to represent the district in the forthcoming 18th National Inter-District Junior Athletic Meet-2024 to be held at Gujarat.
