Mysuru Utsava-2022: A trip to space from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The theme-based lifestyle and consumer exhibition will be inaugurated at JSS Ground, Doddakere Maidan, Mysuru, tomorrow (Apr. 29) at 6 pm. MLAs S.A. Ramdas (KR) and L. Nagendra (Chamaraja) will be the chief guests.

For the first time in Karnataka, Mysuru Utsava-2022 is not only restricted to Lifestyle and Consumer Exhibition but also to enlighten people especially students about space. Hence, they have come out with attractive information on space through Space Tour which is set up next to the exhibition. The expo will be held from April 29 to May 29.

Space Tour: At the Space Tour, visitors get to see models of rockets and beautiful views of Solar System, Sun, Moon and other Planets. They also get to see artificial man-made satellites that are launched into Space.

Apart from this, they can also come across a walk-through model of the International Space Station and the feel of the Martian environment (Mars: The Red Planet – Our Next Home). Selfie spots have also been created to take selfies with aliens. 

One can also see lighting prospects of other stars, planetary systems, star clusters and galaxies. Those interested in Solar System can avail scientific information about Solar System and Space. For the convenience of visitors, a detailed audio-visual display about Space Tour on LED wall is also arranged.

Space Tour is the brain child of Simon Exhibitors Director M.S. Nagachandra, Mysuru. Hyderabad art designers with Ramesh Hangala created the Space mega display under one roof.

More than 100 outlets: The expo will be a must visit for people who are on the lookout for furniture of different varieties, electronic items, household appliances such as solar products, power savers, mixers, grinders, refrigerators, washing machines, TV, juicers, water purifiers, vegetables choppers of various makes, hair dryers and straightness.

From small company products to MNC products are all available under one roof. Dress materials, readymade clothing, saree, kurta pyjama, shirting and suitings are also available. A wide range of masala powders, honey, chocolates, chutney powder, pickle and dry fruits are also up for sale. Everyday there will be cultural events and for children, there will be amusement park.
