Mysuru: ‘Hakkiya Nelada Haadu’ (An Earthy Ode to Teeyee… Teweet…), a film directed by Mysuru-based wildlife photographer Dr. Lokesh Mosale, will be screened at the ongoing Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) at Orion Mall in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, on Mar. 7 at 4.30 pm.
Filmed amidst the picturesque landscapes of Mysuru, specifically at the fledgling R.T. Nagar Layout, this film has been screened at International Film Festivals and has been well-received by the audience.
The film sheds light on the life and struggles of Yellow-wattled Lapwing (Haladi Tittiba) bird amidst development that is taking shape due to human’s greed and man-animal- birds conflict.
This film is being screened at the BIFFes, which is being held on the theme ‘Sarva Janangada Shantiya Thota’ on invitation.
This cinematic masterpiece has been screened at many International Film Festivals including Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in New York, China International Green Film Week and Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival in Malaysia.
Also, the film was officially selected for Indo-French International Film Festival, Chithra Bharati Film Festival and Mysuru Dasara Film Festival.
Originally in the Kannada language, the film has been expertly crafted with script and cinematography by Dr. Lokesh Mosale, compilation and editing by M.N. Swamy, sound design (soundscape) by Babu Eshwar Prasad and produced by Gravity-1.
