Mysuru: Senior theatre personality of the city N. Dhananjaya was conferred with the prestigious ‘Ranga Rathna’ Award at the ‘Rathna Yendendigoo Rathna’ (Rathna Forever Rathna)  programme organised under the aegis of Na. Rathna Balaga at Ideal Jawa  Rotary school premises on JLB Road here recently.

The award has been instituted in memory of late theatre personality Dr. N. Rathna, who was also the first Director of the city’s All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH).

Speaking after receiving the award, Dhananjaya said that Na. Rathna has left behind an unerasable trail in the theatre and his name remains etched forever in the minds of theatre lovers.
