Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Crime Prevention Month being observed by City Police, Narasimharaja (NR) Police, led by Inspector Azharuddin took out an awareness rally in its jurisdiction here on Wednesday.
Inspector Azharuddin and staff created awareness on crime prevention and the role of the public in it among the students at Karnataka Public School at Rajendranagar in N.R. Mohalla.
He also informed the students and the public to inform the Police if they find any person or vehicle moving around in suspicious manner and also inform them if they are going out of station after locking the house and if anyone has cheated them of money.
Later, an awareness rally was taken out from Rajendranagar Circle, which passed through Kurimandi, Shankar Nursing Home and on main roads in N.R. Mohalla before culminating at the School. Handbills containing messages on crime prevention were distributed to the public during the awareness rally.
N.R. Sub-Inspectors Jaikeerthi and M. Gangadhar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ravi and staff Manjunath and Sunil, School headmistress Shwetha, Sannaswamy and others took part in the awareness rally.
