N. Shankar (48), a journalist and a resident of Swarnasandra Layout, passed away in the town yesterday. He had worked with several newspapers in Mandya.
He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the burial grounds near Hebbal yesterday evening.
