N.V. Gopal (85), Proprietor of SLV Textiles and Balaji Comfort Home and a resident of Gowrigatta Street in the town, passed away in the early hours of today.

He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Hadinaaru Kaalu Mantapa Burial Grounds on the Banks of River Kapila this afternoon.
