N. Vishwanath (68), proprietor of Maruthi Rice Mill, passed away this morning at his residence, following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, a son, two daughters, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at his farm in Tattekere village today.
