NAAC team to visit Mysore Varsity

The UoM (University of Mysore) is all set for the fourth cycle of re-accreditation and reassessment by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation). The NAAC peer experts team will visit the University from Sept. 15 to 17. The University, which is flying high following its recent best-ever NIRF Ranking in the country, is eyeing to surpass the previous CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) score of 3.47. VC (Vice-Chancellor) Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar said that the assessment will be carried out for a weightage of 1,000. “We have already submitted documents for 700 marks. For the remaining 300 marks, the peer team will carry out the review for three days. The team will visit the University Departments, various facilities and PG centres. It will also interact with students, parents and alumni,” the VC said.
