Nadavidyalaya presents ‘Sri Krishna Vilasa’ at ISKCON

Mysore/Mysuru: Vidu. Mithra Naveen and troupe of Nadavidyalaya Academy, Hebbal, were invited to perform dance-drama ‘Sri Krishna Vilasa,’ a dance feature celebrating the glory of Krishna from childhood till the pure bond and love that kept both Radha and Krishna united at soul. The programme was organised on the occasion of Janmashtami at Divya Roopa Kalyana Mantapam at Vijayanagar by the city’s ISKCON Vrindavan. The hall was literally jam-packed where the events comprised fancy dress, music and talk on the Supreme Lord as well. Former MLC G. Madhusudan was the chief guest.

Dance choreography direction was by Vidu. Mithra Naveen and all 28 artistes were exemplary in their performance which enthralled the audience and immersed them in divinity.

Bharatanatyam artistes included Druthi V. Poojari as little Kanhaiya, Shriya Bhat as playboy Gopala, M. Sinchana as grown up Radha-Krishna, Arpitha Nayak as Yashodha, Kushaja as Kalinga, B.M. Yashaswini, Rithanya Gowda, Samudhyatha, Monisha, V. Deekshitha, Sharvari, Keertana Pruthwi, Anjali Menon, Ganavi, R. Sushma, Aishwarya Suresh, Deepika Joshi, Nivedhya Nair, M.V. Tanishka as Gopis of Vrindavan, Deekshitha, Aisiri, U.R. Sahana, Nayara Ravi Lishitha, Deekshitha Suresh, Deepthi Prashanth as Gopalaka friends of Krishna.
