Mysore/Mysuru: SDM Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) Mysuru, hosted NAISSANCE- 2024, the national-level management festival, under the theme “Vanguard of Tech Multiverse” at its  premises in city.

The two-day event, held on Feb. 2 and 3, was a blend of academic and cultural activities, attracting over 500 B-school students from more than 20 colleges across India.

Seema Latkar, Superintendent of Police (SP), Mysuru district, who was the chief guest at the inaugural session, emphasised the significant interplay of technology and law enforcement.

Highlighting the role of technology in the Police Department, she spoke about the integration of advanced tools like barcodes, drones and security passes in maintaining law and order.

She also focused on the pivotal role of cyber security in today’s digitised economy, particularly noting that agriculture, which forms 54% of India’s economy, must evolve technologically.
