Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Vedavidya Prasarini Sabha, Mysuru, has organised ‘Namami Narayanam: Acharya Smarane,’ a tribute programme in memory of scholar late Dr. K.S. Narayanacharya at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall in Krishnamurthypuram tomorrow (Mar. 27) at 10 am.
Announcing this at a press meet here on Thursday, Sabha President C.V. Keshavamurthy said that a website on Dr. K.S. Narayanacharya will be launched and a CD containing his discourses on Ramayana will be released on the occasion. A documentary on the life of Dr. Narayanacharya will also be screened and an expo of his works will be organised, he said.
Avadhoota Datta Peetham Junior Pontiff Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji will grace the occasion. Vijayanagar Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple’s Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji, journalist Hariprakash Konemane, writer Divakar Hegde, Hubballi Sahitya Prakashana’s Subramanya, KSOU faculty Dr. Shelvapillai Iyengar, MLA S.A. Ramdas, former MLC G. Madhusudan, MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev and others will take part, Keshavamurthy said.
Melukote Vangipura Mutt Seer Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji, Sabha Treasurer Krishna, Mysuru Yadugiri Yathiraj Mutt’s Murali and Vaishnava Hemmige Sabha’s H.S.L.N. Achar were present at the press meet.
