Bengaluru: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) is all set to launch idli and dosa batter under its flagship brand ‘Nandini.’ The new product will have a tough fight to face with other popular brands already in the market.
The product will be made available in the market in 450 grams and 900 grams packs.
Speaking to media persons, KMF Managing Director M.K. Jagadish said the product would be launched by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after a date is fixed.
Apart from milk and curd, KMF has a wide range of products including ghee, cheese, mineral water, lassi, buttermilk, peda etc.
Nandini is also the official central sponsor of the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament. KMF plans to sponsor Pro-Kabaddi League’s Season 11, slated for November-December.
It sponsored the Scotland and Ireland cricket teams in T20 Cricket World Cup in June this year.
KMF also plans to expand its business by entering Delhi market. At present, Nandini’s fresh dairy products are available in Karnataka, Maharashtra (including Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Solapur), Goa, Hyderabad in Telangana, Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
