Nanjangud gets AC Court after 23 years

Nanjangud: The long-standing demand of Nanjangud residents for an Assistant Commissioner’s Court in Nanjangud has now been fulfilled with the establishment of the AC Court. Earlier, people had to come all the way to Mysuru AC Court to redress their grievances.

Now, after 23 years, litigations will be heard at the Court Hall located at the Taluk Office. All the civil and land disputes will henceforth be heard at the Court. The AC Court was formally inaugurated yesterday by Shivegowda, Assistant Commissioner.  He said that the Court has been sanctioned based on the demands from the people and the efforts of Nanjangud Advocates Association President Giriraj and Secretary H. Nagendrappa.
