Nanjappa (70), a resident of Grameena Bank Road in Hosahundi village near Bandipalya, passed away on Wednesday morning at a private hospital in city.
He leaves behind his wife Tulasi, daughter Ramya, son-in-law Vishwanath, sons Prasanna and Rajesh, daughter-in-law, sister Devamma and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Wednesday evening.
