The District Administration and the Department of Kannada and Culture have organised Brahmasri Narayana Guru Jayanti celebrations at Kalamandira here on Sept. 14 at 10 am. Soluru Arya Ediga Mahasamsthana Peethadakshya Sri Vikhyatananda Swamiji and Shivamogga Narayanaguru Mahasamsthana Peethadakshya Sri Renukananda Swamiji will grace the occasion. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate. Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. Retired Assistant Police Commissioner B.K. Shivaram will deliver a lecture on the occasion.
