Mysuru: Dr. Nagesha V. Bettakote, Registrar of Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru, has been selected for the ‘Mudradi Nataka Samman’ National Award given annually by Namma Tuluver Kala Sangatane (NTKS) of Mudradi in Karkala taluk, Udupi district.

The award was presented during the valedictory function of the Eighth Mudradi National Theatre Festival today.

NTKS is dedicated to Tulu and Kannada theatre activities for the last 33 years and has been organising theatre festivals of all languages since 2010. Since then, it has also been presenting the national theatre award  to achievers.
