National Ayurveda Day on Oct.17

Mysuru: The Second National Ayurveda Day will be celebrated on Dhanwanthri Jayanthi Day on Oct.17 at JSS Ayurveda Medical College in city to boost the confidence of Ayurveda doctors in treating common disease ailments including painful condition.

On this occasion, a one-day CME on the theme “Pain Management through Ayurveda” is  also organised.

The programme will be inaugurated by Dr. N.V. Sreevats, Senior Medical Officer, Ayurveda Hospital, Palakkad, Kerala. Dr. Akkamahadevi, Professor and HoD of Emergency Medicine, JSS Medical College, will be the chief guest. R. Mahesh, Director, Medical Education Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, will preside.
