Mysuru: Sindhu S. Shastry, II PUC student of Sadvidya Semi-Residential College, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, has bagged the prestigious National Balashree Award in creative writing from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi. The award comprises Rs. 15,000 cash and a certificate from MHRD. She is the daughter of S. Shashidhara, Executive Engineer, RWSS, Bengaluru and H. S. Nagalakshmi, Assistant Professor, Maharani’s College, Mysuru.
