Mysuru: Vidyavardhaka First Grade College (VVFGC), Department of Commerce and Management & IQAC, have jointly organised a one-day National-level Conference on ‘Strategic Entrepreneurship: A key for Sustainable Development’ at its premises on Seshadri Iyer Road in city on Oct. 19.
Dr. N. Nagaraja, Registrar (Evaluation), University of Mysore, will inaugurate at 9.30 am.
Prof. Dinesh Shenoy, Dean, School of Management Science, Chanakya University, Bengaluru, will be the keynote speaker.
Gundappa Gowda, Hon. President, Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS), Mysuru, will preside. P. Vishwanath, Hon. Secretary, VVS, Srishaila Ramannavar, Hon. Treasurer, VVS, T. Nagaraju, Chairman, CMC, VVFGC and Dr. S. Marigowda, Principal, VVFGC, will be the guests of honour. Prof. N. Geetha, Conference Secretary, will be present.
The first technical session will be on the theme ‘Empowering the Beta Generation: Youth Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development’ between 11.45 am and 1.15 pm. Prof. S.J. Manjunath, Department of Business Administration, BIMS, Manasagangothri, will be the Chairperson.
Dr. Rajeev C. Raghunath, Founder and CEO, Kramah Software India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, will be the Resource Person.
Dr. K.C. Chethan, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Government First Grade College for Women, Holenarasipur, will be the Rapporteur.
The second session will be on the theme ‘Futuristic Entrepreneurship: Leveraging Al for Start-up Growth’ between 2 pm to 3.30 pm. Prof. S. Manju, Department of Commerce, Government First Grade College, Hunsur, will be the Chairperson. Dr. C. Bindu Ashwini, Assistant Professor, RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru, will be the Resource Person. Dr. S. Shruthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, PES College of Science, Arts and Commerce, Mandya, will be the Rapporteur.
Paper presentation will be followed from 3.30 pm onwards. Dr. M.L. Ashoka, Professor, DoS in Commerce, Manasagangothri, will be the Chairperson. Dr. S. Poornima, Head, Department of Commerce, Vidyavardhaka Post Graduate Centre, Mysuru, will be the Co-Chairperson.
Nearly 300 delegates are expected to participate in the day-long conference.
