National Day of Mathematics at Learners College tomorrow

Mysuru: Learners Global School and PU College in city will be celebrating National Day of Mathematics on Dec. 22, from 9 am to 4 pm to commemorate the birth anniversary of renowned Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Math Quiz Competitions: Challenging and fun contests for students from Classes 1 to 12.

Interactive Math Exhibitions: Students will showcase innovative projects that demonstrate math               in science, technology, and real-world applications.

Guest Talks & Workshops: Inspiring sessions by renowned educators, mathematicians, and industry experts to highlight the importance of mathematical skills in education and careers.

Parent-Student Math Challenges: Engaging activities to encourage collaborative learning and celebrate the joy of math within families.

Math Art Corner: Creative activities where students explore the connection between math & art through symmetry, shapes & patterns.

Meet the Experts: The event will be attended by renowned subject matter experts, who will share their invaluable insights into the world of mathematics:

Prof. C.R. Pradeep, a distinguished professor and alumnus of IIT Bombay, will deliver a talk on “The Elegance of Numbers and Patterns in Everyday Life.”

Dr. Ruby Salestina, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru, will speak on ‘The importance of Mathematics’ to parents and ‘A walk in mathematical domain’ to students in PU & MCA.

B. S. Krishna Murthy will conduct a workshop on “Practical Problem-Solving Techniques for Students.” while G.B. Santosh Kumar and H. V. Muralidhar, members of Mysore Science Foundation, will be conducting origami workshop.

Murali Konareddy, Founder and Director of Learners Global School and PU College, will give a talk titled “Learn to Learn: The Pathway to Success.”
