Padma Shri Saalumarada Thimmakka to inaugurate tomorrow
Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) and the NSS Unit of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) have jointly organised a National Integration Camp at Sri Rajendra auditorium of JSS Pharmacy College in city from Mar.5 to 11.
Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city yesterday, JSS AHER’s NSS Programme Officer Dr. K.L. Krishna said that Padma Shri Saalumarada Thimmakka will inaugurate the Camp at 3.30 pm on Mar.5. Mayor Tasneem, JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, JSS AHER Pro-Chancellor Dr. B. Suresh, JSS AHER VC Dr. Surinder Singh and State NSS Officer Dr. Gananatha Shetty Yekkar will be the guests.
Over 150 participants from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Puducherry will be taking part in the Camp.
The valedictory of the 7-day camp will be held on Mar.11 at 3.30 pm during which University of Mysore NSS Officer B. Chandrashekar will deliver the valedictory address.
