National-level Best Teacher Award for Mysurean

New Delhi: A teacher from Mysuru is among the 45 teachers from across the country who have been selected for the National-level Best Teacher Award given by the Union Ministry of Education.

K.S. Madhusudhan, who is currently serving as an Associate teacher of Science at Government Higher Primary School, Hinkal on Hunsur Road in Mysuru, is among the 45 teachers  who have been selected for the award this year.

He has been selected in consideration of his contribution in fostering the growth of children through education, motivation  and learning.

Madhusudhan will be conferred the award by President Droupadi Murmu at a programme to take place at Vijnan Bhavan in New Delhi on Sept.5, marking Teachers Day, celebrated to honour Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India and also a distinguished scholar and philosopher.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs.50,000 and a Silver Medal.
