Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, is organising a 24-hour National-level Hackathon titled ‘SruJSShti 2026-EC Hackathon 1.0’ at its premises in city on May 9 and 10.
With the theme ‘Where Circuits Meet Innovation,’ the hackathon aims to bring together bright minds from across the country to collaborate, innovate and develop impactful solutions to real-world challenges. The event will focus on AI, IoT, Signal Processing and Communication systems, promoting hardware-software integrated innovations.
Participants can choose problem statements from diverse domains including Precision Agriculture, Smart Cities & Urban Technology, Healthcare Technology, Affordable Green Energy, Education & Skill Development, Climate Technology and Open Innovation.
The event is open to Engineering students, designers, Al enthusiasts, start-up aspirants, professionals and innovators. Teams of 2 to 4 members can participate. In addition to competition, participants will benefit from mentorship by industry experts, start-up founders and academic researchers, fostering a strong ecosystem of learning and innovation. Registration is open till May 6.
The hackathon is convened by Dr. Sudarshan Patil Kulkarni, Professor & Head, and coordinated by Dr. H.M. Gayitri, Associate Professor, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering.
