Karnataka Kusthi Federation will be conducting the 38th National-level Wrestling Tournament as part of Suttur Jathra on Jan. 17 at Suttur Srikshetra. A total of 48 pairs of wrestlers will fight against each other in the tournament which will witness wrestlers who have gained recognition in State, National and International levels. Addressing presspersons recently, Federation President Prof. K.R. Rangaiah said that titles such as ‘Suttur Kesari’ and ‘Suttur Kumara’ will be awarded to winners in respective categories.
Prior to this, senior advocate and former MLA H. Gangadharan released the posters of the wrestling tournament at Suttur Mutt premises in city. JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary Manjunath Swamy, Shivakumaraswamy, Ravi Kumar, Prahalad and Kempegowda were present.
