City’s upcoming tennis player, Arnav Pathange stormed into the semifinals of AITA National Series U-16 Tournament being held at Panchgani, this morning. In the quarter-final, he defeated Faiz Mohammed of Mumbai 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Earlier, he had defeated Heerak Vora of Gujarat 6-3, 6-3 in the pre-quarter finals, Vishal Goutham 6-1, 6-0 and Eric Nithlian 6-1, 6-0 in Round 1 and 2 respectively. Arnav will be facing top-seed Krishna Hooda of Haryana in the semi-final.
