Mysuru: The Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET) on JLB Road recently held a three-day National Stop Motion Animation Workshop in city.

The event was attended by Vaibhav Kumaresh, the Director of National Animation Workshop. Senior theatre personality Jayaram Patil was the chief guest.

Prasanna, the institution’s Managing Trustee and a senior theatre director, addressed the participants who had arrived from various States.

Speaking to the trainees, he said that Vaibhav Kumaresh is an expert in animation technology and urged everyone to learn from him. He advised them to use what they learn for good purposes.

In today’s world, where violence, war and intolerance are rampant, Vaibhav has become renowned for using animation technology for children’s learning, especially to create joyful and smile-filled education.
