Mysuru: The Union Ministry of Urban Development has bestowed the prestigious National Swachhata Seva Award on the city’s Federation of MCC Wards Parliament. This is the third major award that the city is getting in recent days after bagging two successive Cleanest City tag (2015-16).

Federation President D. Madegowda, who is also a former MLC and Vice-President Dr. K.S. Nagapathi will receive the award from the Union Housing Minister at a function to take place at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan tomorrow.
