‘Navanavonmeshashalini — Nadarupini’: Special visual show on Nov.3

Mysuru: Surabhi Ganakala Mandira Charitable Trust, Gokulam, marking its anniversary, has organised a special music and visual art display titled ‘Navanavonmeshashalini — Nadarupini’ at Jaganmohan Palace here on Nov.3.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Vidu. Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar said that the Trust Hon. President K.V. Murthy would preside over the function with Mysore Akashavani Asst. Director H. Srinivas and Sangeetha Vidwan Dr. R.S. Nandakumar as chief guests.

She further said that the special show would depict the Goddess Durga in all the nine forms as part of the Navarati through a light and shadow projection with bhajans highlighting each form in the background.

Dr. Sukanya added that this is the first time that a new venture is being made in co-ordination with Vidu. Aparna Shashank from Bengaluru and Dr. Veena Ravikumar.

She said that there is no entry fee for the event.
