Navarathri Brahmotsava Jatra has been organised from Oct. 14 to 24 at Sri Yoga Narasimhaswamy temple, Vijayanagar in city. On account of Mahalaya Amavasya, various puja rituals including Abhisheka to Yoga Narasimhaswamy has been organised on Oct. 14 at 7 pm, marking the start of Brahmotsava Jatra. Special and traditional puja rituals have been organised till Oct. 24 under the supervision of Founder of the temple Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji.
Sudarshana Yaga has been organised on Oct. 24 and purnahuti is scheduled at 12 noon on that day, followed by distribution of food (Annasantharpane)to the devotees.
