Ayub Ahmed, a resident of Rajeevnagar in Mysuru, who is known as the ‘Messiah of unclaimed bodies’ as he transports unclaimed bodies besides performing the last rites based on the identity of the deceased since about 18 years, was honoured with Navaratri Rangotsava Award-2017 at a function organised by Rangayana at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road here recently.
