Mysuru: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, has organised NAVONNATIE – Student Induction Programme-2026 from Sept. 6 to 15.
NAVONNATIE, signifying ‘New Beginning towards New Heights,’ marks the beginning of a transformative phase in the lives of the new students.
The Inaugural Session of NAVONNATIE along with Fresher’s Day, will be held tomorrow (Sept. 6) at 11 am at the Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex, NIE South Campus, Mysuru.
The inaugural session will be presided over by S. Niranjan Simha, Vice-President, NIE Managing Committee. Supreeth Kashyap, Founder & CEO, Wellbi, Mysuru, will be the chief guest.
Dr. B.S. Nagendra Parashar, Principal and Dr. M.V. Likith Kumar, Vice-Principal, along with the Deans, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), Controller of Examinations (COE), Heads of Departments (HoDs), Heads of various Centres and other senior academic and administrative functionaries will be present.
The ten-day induction programme will feature orientation sessions, interactions with faculty and senior students, motivational and expert talks, cultural activities, sports, team-building exercises, awareness programmes and other activities.
Dr. V. Lakshmi Ranganathe, HoD of Chemistry, is the Principal Coordinator of NAVONNATIE.
