Madikeri: A woman, who had sustained head injuries after she accidentally slipped and fell in her mother’s house, has succumbed to injuries at a private hospital in Mysuru.

The incident took place at Kadangada Mururu village in Virajpet taluk and the deceased is Dr. Capt. Balyanda Beena (Sannuvanda-Devanageri), an NCC Officer at Cauvery College in Gonikoppal. She was 52.

On Saturday night, Dr. Beena was working at her mother’s house when she accidentally slipped and fell injuring her head seriously. Though she was admitted to a private Hospital in Mysuru, she succumbed to injuries yesterday (Sunday).

Body was donated to Chamarajanagar Medical College.
