Mysuru: As part of World Environment Month (WEM) celebrations, the Environment Month Committee of the Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre, in collaboration with ‘Spoorthi,’ BAI Women’s Wing and Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat, Mysuru, has organised a special musical evening titled ‘Nesara… Nodu’ (poetic film songs).
This cultural feast will be held tomorrow (June 17) from 5 pm to 8.30 pm at the MBCT Auditorium of BAI on Akkamahadevi Road in Vishweshwaranagar, here. Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy, President of Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat, Mysuru, will lead the entire event.
In this musical evening, renowned singers of the State, including Nitin Rajaram Shastri, Rashmi Chikmagalur, Lakshmi Dinesh, Narasimhamurthy and Tyagaraj, will perform poetic film tracks.
They will be accompanied by instrumentalists Purushotham on keyboard, Gurudath on rhythm pad, Roshan Surya on tabla and Puneeth on flute. The event will be anchored by Yediyur Samiullah.
K.R. Prabhakar Rao (Chairman, BAI Mysuru), M.D. Praveen Pal (Hon. Secretary, BAI Mysuru), C.D. Krishna (Chairman, WEM-2026), S. Vasudevan (Hon. Secretary, WEM-2026), Shanthi Bharadwaj (President, ‘Spoorthi’) and Veena Ashok (Hon. Secretary, ‘Spoorthi’)will be present on the occasion.
